POLYAMIDE 6.6

Polyamide 6.6

Polyamide 6.6 (PA 6.6) is - like PA 6 - a semi-crystalline polyamide with, however, some better mechanical properties. In terms of its mechanical properties, it is quite comparable to the cast PA 6.

PA 6.6 is characterized by a higher heat deflection temperature and a lower water absorption. Therefore this material has become a standard plastic for higher stressed parts in machine-, vehicle- and apparatus construction. It is well suited for mechanical processing.

Main features

  • better mechanical properties than PA 6
  • good damping properties
  • heat resistant up to 85°C

The types listed below are available as standard. Other special qualities and color variants are available on request, but usually only available with minimum quantities.
