Nylasint® ink rolls
Nylasint® ink rollers differ from the well-known rubber or felt ink rollers by their hard surface! Even ink delivery is achieved by applying appropriate pressure to the Nylasint® body, which serves as a filter material for the oil-based inks.
Nylasint® ink rolls therefore offer the following advantages:
- consistent ink delivery with long service life
- no soaking or smearing of the types
- maintenance-free
- economical colouring method.
The ink rolls have an ink reservoir in their core, in which the corresponding ink is stored. The wall thickness of the Nylasint® body determines the flow rate of the ink from the reservoir to the outer wall. It must be adjusted to the printing unit according to the printing speed, the size of the print types and the hardness of the transfer roller, which is normally made of rubber.
