The load conditions in tribological systems are extremely complex! They are dependent on various influencing factors. But plastics are influenced to a much greater extent than metals by temperature, humidity, duration, level and type of load as well as other environmental conditions. In this respect, the load conditions can never be exactly predetermined. Therefore we recommend a test under practical conditions for each application.
